| Saarbrücken, 05.10.2023 – Die Eltern von Mathis, einem fünfjährigen Jungen von 120 Zentimetern Größe, sind in tiefer Verzweiflung, da ihr geliebter Sohn seit dem 2. Oktober 2023 vermisst wird. Wir möchten als Sprachrohr der Eltern ihre dringende Bitte an die Polizei, Politiker im Bundestag, Landtag und Stadtrat von Saarbrücken sowie an die gesamte Stadtgemeinschaft und insbesondere an die afrikanische und kamerunische Community im Saarland und in Saarbrücken richten, um die Suche nach Mathis zu intensivieren und zu unterstützen.
Die verzweifelten Eltern von Mathis appellieren an die Polizei, sich unermüdlich in die Suche nach ihrem fünfjährigen Kind zu begeben. Jeder Tag ohne Gewissheit über den Verbleib ihres Sohnes ist für sie eine unerträgliche Qual. Wir fordern die Polizei auf, nicht nur die Anstrengungen zur Suche zu verstärken, sondern auch den Suchradius zu erweitern und alle verfügbaren Ressourcen zu mobilisieren. |

Saarbrücken, le 05.10.2023 – Les parents de Mathis, un garçon de cinq ans mesurant 120 centimètres, sont profondément désespérés depuis la disparition de leur fils bien-aimé le 2 octobre 2023. En tant que porte-parole des parents, nous souhaitons adresser leur demande pressante à la police, aux politiciens du Bundestag, du Landtag et du conseil municipal de Saarbrücken, ainsi qu’à toute la communauté de la ville, et en particulier à la communauté africaine et camerounaise dans la région de la Sarre et à Saarbrücken, afin d’intensifier et de soutenir les efforts pour retrouver Mathis.
Les parents désespérés de Mathis implorent la police de s’engager sans relâche dans la recherche de leur enfant de cinq ans. Chaque jour sans nouvelle de leur fils est une torture insoutenable pour eux. Nous exhortons la police à non seulement renforcer les efforts de recherche, mais aussi à élargir le périmètre de recherche et à mobiliser toutes les ressources disponibles.
Nous demandons instamment à l’ensemble de la population de Saarbrücken et en particulier à la communauté africaine et camerounaise d’être vigilants. Si vous apercevez un enfant seul d’environ cinq ans, n’hésitez pas à contacter immédiatement la police. Chaque indice, chaque observation peut s’avérer décisif. |

URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP IN FINDING MISSING CHILD MATHIS IN SAARBRÜCKEN
Saarbrücken, October 5, 2023 – The parents of Mathis, a five-year-old boy measuring 120 centimeters, are in deep despair since the disappearance of their beloved son on October 2, 2023. As spokespersons for the parents, we would like to convey their urgent plea to the police, politicians in the Bundestag, Landtag, and city council of Saarbrücken, as well as to the entire city community, and especially to the African and Cameroonian community in the Saarland and Saarbrücken, to intensify and support efforts to find Mathis.
The desperate parents of Mathis implore the police to tirelessly engage in the search for their five-year-old child. Every day without news of their son is an unbearable torment for them. We urge the police not only to bolster search efforts but also to expand the search radius and mobilize all available resources.
We earnestly request the entire population of Saarbrücken, and especially the African and Cameroonian community, to be vigilant. If you see a child who is approximately five years old and alone, do not hesitate to immediately contact the police. Every clue, every observation can be crucial.
Furthermore, we call on many volunteers to organize and support the affected family in the search for Mathis. The support of an entire community can make a difference and increase the chances of safely bringing Mathis back home.
Mathis’s parents wish for nothing more than the swift return of their son, safe and sound, to their embrace. They deeply miss Mathis and implore the police to do everything in their power to find their son and bring him home safely.
“Mathis, we love you. On October 2, you were playing at the playground, and since then, you have been missing. Your family and the entire community are deeply concerned for you. We are doing everything in our power to find you and bring you home, where you belong.”
